Hi I'm Jaakko. I'm a 23-year-old freelance animator from Finland. I'm currently studying my third year of motion graphics and animation in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki. I specialize in 3D character design and animation. I've worked in a plethora of styles for many clients and companies such as YLE, Warner Music and the Finnish Defence Forces.With my art, I try to capture the magical feeling of exploring a forest as a kid. I explore our collective unconscious through art, mixing fantasy tropes with a modern setting to capture a timeless hyper-fantasy universe where every story ever told takes place. It's the nostalgic place from our dreams which only briefly exists when we dream it.
